At CSM, we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Pontone, who shared fascinating insights on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming cardiology. He explained how AI can analyse exams such as electrocardiograms and, in some cases, outperform cardiologists in detecting conditions that could lead to heart attacks or structural heart disease.
Professor Pontone also highlighted exciting advances in wearable technology, showing how everyday data from devices like smartwatches can help detect heart problems early.
It was an inspiring experience for our students to witness firsthand how technology is shaping the future of medicine and scientific innovation.
