I would like to welcome you to the Canadian School of Milan (CSM) website and thank you for considering our school for your children. I hope you will find this site informative and gain a better understanding of the International Education we offer.
At CSM we are proud to welcome families from all over the world as we strive to foster intercultural mindedness. With over 30 different nationalities, 50% of the students are international.
As part of the "Creative Home Shakespeare Project" our Grade 9 and Grade 10 students had to come up with original ways to stage scenes from "Romeo and Juliet" and "The "Merchant of Venice" at home. Through the use of mix media, students acquired a strong understanding of these masterpieces and their continued relevance in today's society.
Today we start the week with a glimpse into our Upper School virtual learning lessons. We are happy to report that this experience is helping our students reinforce their time management, critical thinking and decision making skills. With the daily support of their teachers, students are acquiring important transferable skills for their future beyond the classroom.
In accordance with the official order from the Lombardia Region CSM is currently closed. Our teachers and leaders are working hard in order to deliver a meaningful e-learning experience based on the virtual curriculum they have created. We are proud of their positivity and their flexibility when dealing with this unexpected turn of events. A special thank you to our parents for their meaningful contribution in ensuring educational continuity. As a school we are confident that together we will come through this stronger than ever before. #csm #canadianschoolofmilan #elearning
