Grade 5 Builds Moving Satellites

This week, our students took learning to new heights during their Bricks 4 Kids session, diving into the fascinating world of satellites and space exploration. They discovered how satellites orbit the Earth and learnt the story of Laika, the first animal to journey into space.
The students designed and built their own moving satellite models using LEGO bricks and motors. Collaborating, experimenting, and solving problems together, they brought their creations to life, combining creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills.
This hands-on experience not only complemented their Science topic on Space, but also sparked curiosity and excitement, showing how learning can be truly interactive, imaginative, and out-of-this-world.
