The Arts

Arts education is an important part of our approach in developing the whole child. Arts teaches students to perceive and think in new ways and promotes creativity, reasoning, imagination, dexterity and intuition. Additionally, through Arts students learn to build bridges between verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as logic and emotion.

MUSIC AND DRAMA

Music and drama at CSM are taught from the age of 3, and it soon forms an integral part of school life.
Students of all grades have the opportunity to become involved in:

  • School Choir
  • Concerts and recitals
  • Musical and theatre productions

VISUAL ART

Art gives students the chance to explore creativity while developing fundamental skills. The program encourages children to become confident in expressing their creativity and to appreciate the work of others. Visual Art is taught across all grades through a rich, experiential curriculum and through the exposure to a wide range of mediums and principles of design.
