THE SCHOOL

Established in 2014, the Canadian School of Milan is an independent, co-educational IB World School which educates over 300 students from pre-school to the end of secondary education.  The School offers students a hybrid, Ontario-based curriculum in the primary Lower School, and MYP the IB Diploma in the secondary Upper School, with a wide range of co-curricular activities. Our students come from a wide mix of backgrounds and cultures and a typical school may have up to 40 different nationalities.
Our school is amongst the most respected premium schools in Milan and is a very popular choice for parents for the quality of teaching and learning, the broad international community, and the central location of the school.
Teaching staff work in a positive and friendly atmosphere with bright and responsive students.

LIVING IN MILAN

The school is located in the centre of Milan, just a block away from the Stazione Centrale and Porta Nuova, a world-renowned district. Milan, a city whose history stretches back to 600 B.C., is a vibrant city in which to live and work. In addition to being Italy’s fashionable economic engine of Italy, Milan boasts priceless artistic wonders, as well as old and new architectural landmarks: the Duomo cathedral, Leonardo’s Last Supper, Teatro alla Scala, are just a few examples. Milan has excellent public transport, three international airports, and world-class health care, making it one of the world’s best cities to live in.
